Cynthia Bolton

Academic and social-emotional needs of gifted students, gifted education programs

Cynthia Bolton is the head of Gifted Education for Qatar Foundation Pre-university Education. She frequently speaks on the academic and social-emotional needs of gifted students and the development of gifted education programs in international schools.
Prior to coming to Qatar in 2016, Bolton spent three years at the International School of Stuttgart, taught master’s level classes in gifted education at Arizona State University, and spent over 20 years developing programs and teaching gifted students. Bolton has been recognized for her contributions to the field of gifted education by Qatar Foundation, AAGT, SUSD, PVUSD, et. al.

Bolton received her master’s in gifted education from Arizona State University and has completed the International Leadership program through the International Principal’s Training Center.
