Apply knowledge gained from basic sciences and engineering principles to design and develop processes for economical and safe conversion of chemical raw materials to useful products.
Develop and apply the theories of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetics to analyze and design a variety of systems. Employ your skills in such diverse fields as telecommunication, electric energy, computers, automatic control, and consumer and entertainment electronics.
Study one of the most versatile professions and enjoy employment in mechanical industry, government, consulting, and research organizations. Manufacturing systems, robotics, and environmental control systems are primarily designed by mechanical engineers.
Explore the field that is primarily concerned with the economic extraction of oil, gas, and other natural resources from the earth. This is accomplished through the design, drilling, and operation of wells and well systems, and the integrated management of the underground reservoirs in which the resources are found.
Texas A&M University at Qatar offers two graduate degrees in chemical engineering: a Master of Science and a Master of Engineering. The Master of Science degree in chemical engineering requires a minimum of 32 semester credit hours of approved courses and research.
