Dr. Noha A. Yousri is an assistant professor of research in the Genetic Medicine department at Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar. Her expertise lies in the fields of bioinformatics, metabolomics, genomics, epigenetics, proteomics, precision medicine, machine learning, omics, association studies, diabetes, obesity, and arthritis.
Dr. Yousri has led the computational analysis for several association studies involving genomics, metabolomics, proteomics and epigenetics data. She is also affiliated with Alexandria University as a professor of computer and systems engineering.
Dr. Yousri is a lead principal investigator of QNRF funded projects that focus on studying epigenetics and integrated large-scale omics data for T2D and obesity, using Qatar Biobank samples/data and Qatar Genome Project data. She is also a co-principal investigator of several QNRF funded projects that study rare diseases, chronic inflammation diseases, and gut microbiome.
Dr. Yousri comes from a computer engineering background, with a specialization in machine learning techniques. She has authored and co-authored 50 peer reviewed journal and conference publications.
