Dr. Samer Adham
Water security, sustainability, desalination, innovation
Dr. Samer Adham is the Managing Director of the ConocoPhillips’ Global Water Sustainability Center, located at Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP). His work and expertise focus on the development of innovative solutions to environmental challenges in the fields of water purification, wastewater treatment and recycling, membrane desalination, and oil and gas water management. He is also interested in water education and conservation education.
With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Adham has received several national and international awards of excellence, and has participated in various conferences worldwide as a global expert on advanced water treatment technologies.
Dr. Adham holds a Ph.D. in environmental engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received a B.Sc. in civil engineering and a M.Sc. in environmental engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Saudi Arabia.
