Ovais Sarmad

Ovais Sarmad served as Chief of Staff/Chef de Cabinet at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Geneva over a period of 27 years. In September 2017, Sarmad joined the United Nations Climate Change secretariat (UNFCCC). In his position, he supports the Executive Secretary in managing the operations of UNFCCC secretariat and its staff and organizational development, advising on a range of issues relating to inter-governmental affairs and strategic planning.
