Rossella Miccio

Rossella Miccio began her career at EMERGENCY NGO in 2000. She became Coordinator of the Field Operations Department, with the mandate of supervising and coordinating all EMERGENCY’s humanitarian projects around the world and liaising with the international community and governments. Miccio has worked in emergency response in Afghanistan, Libya, Central African Republic, and Iraq. In 2014-2015, Miccio led EMERGENCY’s intervention during the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone. Having been a member of EMERGENCY's Executive Board since 2003, Miccio was elected President in July 2017.
