Qatar Foundation has today announced that two new schools are to be brought under the umbrella of its Pre-University Education – the Swiss International School of Qatar and Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire.

The agreement further expands QF’s schools network, which caters for children aged six months all the way to high school graduates.

The two institutions will join the existing portfolio of schools at Qatar Foundation (QF), which cater for children from the age of six months through to high school graduates within an ecosystem that, for the past 25 years, has been committed to providing tailored learning experiences that nurture creative, innovative thinkers, change-makers, and future leaders.

With more than 7,000 students already enrolled in schools under QF’s Pre-University Education (PUE), the Swiss International School of Qatar and Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire are set to add nearly 2,500 new students, helping to grow the ever-expanding QF school network which is committed to delivering quality education rooted in international best practices.

His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Marri, Attorney General of the State of Qatar and Chairperson of the Swiss International School of Qatar and Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire, said: “I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, for her tremendous efforts at a local and global level to support education and provide everyone with the opportunity to obtain the best form of learning – in particular, those in most need of such opportunities around the world.”

“I would also like to thank Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, for this distinguished effort in the education sector, which has helped many people find unique opportunities.”

“Lycée Franco-Qatarien Voltaire, which was established in 2007, aims to strengthen the links between Qatar and France through language, education, and culture, by providing classes in Arabic, French, and English – based on the principle of two civilizations and three languages."
